In a war of ideas, we must find the courage to develop a worldview informed by our own historical, material and class interest.

Nothing has changed with the fundamental relationship we have to this system. Don’t surrender your vision, determination, or love towards our liberation.

Just as the struggle of African women cannot be waged and pursued outside the context of the struggle of our peoples for the liberation and emancipation of our continent, so the freedom of Africa cannot be effective if it does not lead, concretely, to the liberation of the women of Africa.

Liberation does not come as a gift from anybody; it is seized by the masses with their own hands. And by seizing it they themselves are transformed…

Unfortunately, I need to update some of the photos. And if we don't overcome our petty differences and organize around principles of liberation, our great great grandchildren will have to update some as well.

The next time someone says “we should return to the great nation of our founding fathers”, ask them to explain exactly where that would place you.
